So I said to myself  "I'm going to run one mile for each alcoholic drink I have!"

Then I remembered the next 4 weeks includes 1 wedding, a birthday, Xmas and new year.

Excuses Excuses

Well what can I say. No entries for over a month.

Several reasons, some good some shit. You decide.

  1. Sons Birthday (12yrs old)
  2. My dad very ill (7weeks in hospital)
  3. My birthday (46yrs gulp)
  4. My dad died (81yrs old)
  5. Funeral/wake (alcohol and tears)
  6. Nieces wedding (good weekend)
  7. Daughters birthday (14yrs old)
  8. Nephews wedding (next weekend)
I have been jogging when the motivation grabbed me, so i'll summerize here.

Old Ground

Decided to run an old route I've done many times over the last few years.
Should take about 30mins for 3.2m.
A fast downhill then a steady run finishing with a tough uphill bit.

Pixie Power

Dropped the kids off in guildford for thier weekly diving lesson, so off for a jog I go.

A nice slow jog around Stoke Park a couple of times.
Trouble is it was so dark I couldn't see a bl**dy thing!
It was on grass and I could only see about 5metres infront of me, every time I saw a shadow I thought it was a dip or a hole, so I lengthened my stride or jumped it.
There were no holes or dips.

I can't imagine what I looked like hoping and leaping around a field in the dark like some pot fueled pixie.

Anyway...

Breakfast  = Chicken wrap in McDonalds.

Gently Does It

Saturday today and my legs only stopped aching yesterday.

1.8 miles then 4 days to recover - not a great start.

Head Ache

Woke up this morning with a splitting head ache.
Alcohol induced obviously - to much red wine and a late night.
